Royal Air Maroc Adjusts Flight Schedules for Morocco's Ramadan Time Change

Following Morocco’s return to GMT time for the month of Ramadan, the airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is informing its customers of a change in flight schedules.

The flight schedules of Royal Air Maroc (RAM) will be brought forward by one hour on departure and arrival from the various Moroccan airports from this Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 03:00 until May 08, 2022 at 02:00, the company specifies. It invites its customers to "arrive sufficiently in advance at the check-in counters at the airport."

Morocco returned to GMT time this Sunday, March 27, 2022, at 3 a.m. In a press release, the Ministry of Digital Transition and Public Administration Reform had indicated that this change is in response to the need to adapt to the specificities of this blessed month and to ensure the conditions conducive to the exercise of worship, in accordance with the decree published on October 26, 2018 relating to legal time and the order of the Head of Government on the same subject.

During the holy month, public administrations and local authorities will adopt continuous hours (from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) from Monday to Friday, the ministry had specified.
