Morocco Resumes Daylight Saving Time After Ramadan, Clocks Move Forward May 8

Morocco will switch back to GMT+1 time on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at 02:00, a few days after the celebration of Eid al-Fitr scheduled for May 2.
The time in Morocco will be advanced by 60 minutes on Sunday, May 8 at 02:00, in accordance with Article 2 of Decree No. 2.18.855 published on 16 Safar 1440 (October 26, 2018), relating to legal time. On Sunday at 2 a.m., it will be 3 a.m. in the kingdom.
In a press release, the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Administration Reform had announced the return to GMT time on the occasion of the month of Ramadan. The time in Morocco was therefore delayed by 60 minutes, on Sunday, March 27 at 3 a.m.
