Eid Al Fitr will be celebrated on Monday, May 2 in Morocco. This is what the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs announced this evening.

A statement from the ministry specifies that the Nadirs and the delegates of Islamic Affairs throughout the Kingdom as well as the units of the Royal Armed Forces associated with the observation have confirmed, on Sunday, the 29th of Ramadan 1443 of the Hegira, after the Maghrib prayer, having observed the crescent moon announcing the beginning of the month of Shawwal.

The 1st of Shawwal 1443, the day of Eid Al Fitr marking the end of Ramadan, therefore corresponds to Monday, May 2, 2022.

In France, as in Belgium and in many other European and Muslim countries, Eid Al Fitr will also be celebrated tomorrow, Monday, May 2, 2022.
