Morocco Sets Eid al-Fitr Date for March 31, 2025

Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on Monday, March 31 in Morocco, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs has just confirmed. Here is the full press release.
Eid Al Fitr 1446 of the Hegira will be celebrated on Monday, March 31, 2025 in the Kingdom, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced on Sunday evening.
In a press release, the ministry states that it has proceeded with the observation, after the Al Maghrib prayer, on Sunday 29 Ramadan 1446 of the Hegira corresponding to March 30, 2025, and has confirmed the observation of the lunar crescent announcing the beginning of the month of Shawwal 1446 H.
Thus, the first day of Shawwal 1446 H, Eid Al-Fitr, will be Monday, March 31, 2025, the ministry specifies.
