Morocco to Advance Clocks by One Hour as Daylight Saving Time Resumes Sunday

Starting Sunday, May 8 at 2:00 a.m., Morocco will switch back to GMT+1 time, according to the announcement made on Thursday by the Ministry of Digital Transition and Public Administration Reform.
Moroccans will have to advance their watches by 60 minutes on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at 2:00 a.m. It had already been announced that Morocco would switch back to GMT+1 time after the celebration of Eid Al-Fitr.
In a statement, the Ministry of Digital Transition and Public Administration Reform stressed that this measure is in application of the decree published on October 26, 2018 relating to the legal time of the Kingdom.
