Morocco Shifts to GMT for Ramadan, Returns to Daylight Saving Time in April

The Ministry of Digital Transition and Public Administration Reform announced the switch to GMT legal time on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 3 a.m., to allow Moroccans to prepare for the holy month of Ramadan 2023.
This time change is in accordance with the provisions of Decree 2.18.855 of October 26, 2018 relating to legal time and the Order of the Head of Government of March 6, 2023 on the same subject.
At the end of the Ramadan month, i.e. on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 02:00, Moroccans will be able to advance their clock by 60 minutes with the return to GMT+1 time, the ministry’s press release states.
