Royal Air Maroc to Launch Direct Flights Between Casablanca and Tel Aviv

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) will launch a new air route connecting Casablanca to Tel Aviv starting December 12. Three flights per week will be operated initially.
After the Israeli airlines, it is now RAM’s turn to announce direct flights to Israel. In a press release, the Moroccan company indicated that this new route responds to the expectations of the Moroccan community established in Israel, which maintains strong ties with its country of origin.
Thus, RAM will operate three flights per week to Israel, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 11:55 p.m. for an arrival the next morning in Tel Aviv. The return flights are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The pace will be accelerated in a second stage and will increase to five weekly flights between Casablanca and Tel Aviv.
Tickets for these flights are on sale on the company’s website and through travel agencies. For the launch of the route, the price of a Casablanca - Tel Aviv ticket is offered starting from 3,400 Moroccan dirhams in economy class.
Morocco hopes to attract Israeli tourists to revive a tourism sector hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic and various health restrictions.
