Royal Air Maroc and El Al Partner to Launch Casablanca-Tel Aviv Flight Route

Royal Air Maroc announces the upcoming launch of an air link between Casablanca and Tel Aviv as part of a cooperation protocol (Memorandum of Understanding - MoU) it has signed with the Israeli airline, EL Al.
In a press release, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) states that the agreement was signed by its CEO, Hamid Addou and Avigal Soreq, CEO of El Al on the sidelines of the 77th IATA Annual General Meeting (IATA) recently held in Boston, which brought together hundreds of delegates and airline executives. It aims to govern the relations between the two airlines in order to offer the best services to their customers.
This agreement comes in a context where RAM and El Al plan to operate air transportation services between the two countries through their respective hubs, namely Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca and Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, the same source specifies. It has also been announced that the Moroccan national company is preparing to launch, in the near future and as soon as the general conditions allow it, a direct air route between Casablanca and Tel Aviv.
The signing of this memorandum of understanding will allow the two companies to explore the possibility of concluding a "Codeshare" partnership on the direct routes operated between the Kingdom of Morocco and Israel, as well as on the routes of their networks beyond their respective hubs, concludes the press release.
