Road Closure: Imilchil-Tinghir Route Shut for Rockfall Prevention Work

This Friday, from 8am to 6pm, there will be no traffic on the section of regional road No. 703 connecting Imilchil and Tinghir. The Ministry of Transport has announced that it will be closed for work.
In a press release, the department of Abdelkader Amara explained that this interruption is necessary to clear unstable rocky stones that could collapse at the level of the section connecting the dam and the Toudgha gorges. However, a detour will be opened from the town of Agoudal, via regional road No. 704 connecting Agoudal and Boumalne-dadès over 120 km (including 38 km of dirt road) and national road No. 10 connecting Tinghir and Boumalne-dadès over 50 km, reports MAP.
While expressing its availability to provide all necessary information, the ministry invites citizens to consult its website or contact the permanent center of the Directorate General of Roads and Land Transport (0537.71.17.17), the same source specifies.
