Heavy Rains Disrupt Travel in Morocco’s Tinghir Province, Key Road Closed for Repairs

The heavy showers that hit the province of Tinghir caused significant damage to the regional road connecting Boumalne Dades to Msemrir, making traffic on this route difficult and perilous. Thus, for repairs, it remains closed to traffic, according to the Ministry of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water.
Traffic is interrupted on Regional Road No. 704 connecting Boumalne Dades to Msemrir. Even the local detour is not possible, according to the MAP.
Indeed, the Ministry of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water is keen to repair the significant damage caused by the runoff and the floods of the wadis, following the heavy showers recently recorded in the province of Tinghir.
The Ministry, in a press release, assures users of the road of its availability, for more information on the road network, through the emergency number of the Directorate of Roads (05.37.71.17.17) or through its website.
