Repeat Offender Arrested for Violent Assault on Teen in Salé, Morocco

The Judicial Police of Salé arrested, on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, in collaboration with the police of Laâyoune, an individual for his alleged involvement in a case of assault with a bladed weapon, according to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
For a case of selling a dog that went wrong, the accused, aged 28, found himself in detention for two days. Once released, he wanted to take revenge on his informant, a 16-year-old minor and the owner of the dog.
Last summer and a few hours after his release, the defendant returned to prison for having assaulted the minor with a bladed weapon.
The investigations carried out, according to the same source, made it possible to locate and arrest him on Wednesday, September 18, 2019. For the needs of the investigation, he was placed in custody to determine the circumstances in which this case took place, the same source indicates.
