Renault Group Dominates Moroccan Auto Market with 43% Share in 2023

The Renault group has again taken the lead in car sales in Morocco during the first five months of the year. In total, nearly 30,000 were sold by May in the country.
A press release from the group cited by the Map announces a market share of 43.3% during the first five months of the year and 28,709 vehicles sold. The market share in May stands at 42.9%.
In detail, the Dacia brand sold some 3,555 units last month, or 26.8% of the total number of cars sold in the kingdom. This figure stands at 18,698 vehicles since the beginning of the year, or a market share of 26.8%.
The parent company Renault, for its part, sold 2,141 cars in May, or 16.1% market share, thus placing itself in second place among the best-selling brands in Morocco behind Dacia. Since the beginning of the year, the diamond brand has sold just over 10,000 cars on the Moroccan market, or 15.1% market share.
Regarding the models sold, the French brand announces 6 models in the Top 10: Clio, Logan, Dokker, Sandero, Duster and Kangoo. Nothing for the Clio, the manufacturer has sold 5,452 cars since the beginning of the year.
