Real Madrid’s Brahim Díaz Weighs National Team Switch from Spain to Morocco

A visit by Brahim Diaz to Tangier a few days ago has sparked rumors about his choice of sporting nationality. The Real Madrid player should choose between Spain, his country of birth, or Morocco, his country of origin.
There is talk of the possibility that Brahim Díaz’s name will appear on Walid Regragui’s next list, with photos of the player who spent his summer vacation in Tangier. Diaz’s presence in the kingdom is linked to a possible call-up to join the Atlas Lions.
The Moroccan-born midfielder has played for the lower categories in Spain, but has not yet been called up to the national team, which leaves him the possibility of wearing the Moroccan jersey. The Moroccan coach could therefore include him on the list that will be published on Thursday, since, apparently, De la Fuente will not call him up for the qualifying matches scheduled for September. The Spanish coach should publish his list on Friday.
Diaz’s visit to Tangier this summer could tip the scales in favor of Morocco. The Atlas Lions would have a key piece to strengthen the team that reached the semi-finals during the World Cup in Qatar.
