Rabat-Casablanca Highway: Work Begins
The Minister of Equipment, Nizar Baraka, announced the imminent launch of work on the continental highway connecting Rabat to Casablanca. This 59-kilometer project aims to streamline traffic and relieve the current axis, which is now saturated by intense traffic.
During an oral question session in the House of Representatives, the minister detailed the major national projects. In addition to this new strategic link, work is progressing to connect Guercif to the port of Nador West Med. In the southern provinces, the Tiznit-Dakhla expressway is now completed, and an extension is already planned towards the El Guerguerat border post.
