Morocco Motorways: Major Projects Before the 2030 World Cup

ADM closed 2025 with consolidated revenue of 6.78 billion dirhams, driven by strong growth in operating income and construction work (+42%). Gross investments exceeded 2.27 billion dirhams, mainly allocated to infrastructure projects and network upgrades. Despite consolidated debt of 35.53 billion dirhams, the operator maintains its financing capacity to support the expansion of its network, which currently extends over 2 177 kilometers.

The new investment program, running through 2032, provides for strategic projects such as the Rabat-Casablanca continental motorway, a 60-kilometer route linking Aïn Atiq to Tit Mellil. A specific budget of 1.2 billion dirhams has already been mobilized to finance the land expropriations required for this route. At the same time, work on the Tit Mellil-Berrechid motorway and the restructuring of the Sidi Maarouf and Aïn Harrouda interchanges aim to permanently improve access to the economic capital.

These infrastructures are part of a broader strategy to strengthen regional connectivity and prepare access routes to the future Grand Stade de Casablanca (Hassan II stadium) ahead of the global football tournament. Beyond the ADM network, Morocco is pursuing other major projects, including the Guercif-Nador motorway and the Tiznit-Dakhla expressway. In total, thirty cities will undergo road rehabilitation work to meet the Kingdom’s growing mobility requirements.
