Putin Hails Growing Russia-Morocco Ties as New Ambassador Takes Office

The Russian president, in receiving the letters of credence of the new ambassador of the king to the Kremlin, welcomed the good state of relations between the two countries. He recognized, on Wednesday, the continuous development that the relations between Russia and Morocco are experiencing.
In front of Lotfi Bouchaara, the new Moroccan ambassador to Russia, Vladimir Putin highlighted the achievements made by the two countries in the agricultural, economic and political fields. "We have all the instruments to give a multidimensional impetus to these relations," affirmed President Putin during this audience, recalling the distinguished historical ties between the two countries.
For his part, Bouchaara stressed, in a statement to the MAP, that "the visit of King Mohammed VI to Moscow in 2016 gave a decisive impetus to bilateral relations. We must continue the work begun and give substance to this partnership by deepening the relations between the two countries".
For the ambassador, bilateral economic exchanges are growing, and it is important to diversify the partnership between the two countries by developing relations on the cultural, scientific, technological and tourism levels.
During his interview, he stressed the importance of further deepening political coordination and dialogue on issues of common interest.
