Morocco’s King Mohammed VI Sends Congratulatory Message to Putin on Russia’s National Day
King Mohammed VI has just addressed a message to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of his country’s national holiday.
In this message relayed by the MAP, the Moroccan sovereign expresses his warm congratulations to Putin and his wishes for further progress and prosperity for the Russian people.
"King Mohammed VI welcomes, on this occasion, the solid friendship and fruitful multidimensional cooperation relations uniting the Kingdom of Morocco and the Russian Federation, reaffirming His determination to continue to work together with the Russian President to preserve the continuous dynamic that marks bilateral relations and to strengthen them in all areas, in consecration of the ambitions of the Declaration of the Deepened Strategic Partnership concluded between the two countries."
In October 2017, Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev had made an official visit to Morocco, during which the Russian official had met with King Mohammed VI and Prime Minister Saad Eddine El Othmani.
A year earlier, more precisely in March 2016, it was King Mohammed VI who had made an official visit to Russia during which important cooperation agreements had been signed between the two countries.
