PSG’s Hakimi and Mbappé Among Champions League’s Fastest Players

Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi of PSG is in the top 5 of the fastest players in the UEFA Champions League.
Achraf Hakimi occupies the 5th place in the ranking of the 10 fastest players in the 2023-2024 UEFA Champions League. Designated the fastest defender, he was clocked at 35.6 km/h. So far, he has reached 36.9 km. His teammate and friend Kylian Mbappé takes second place in the top published by UEFA with 36.1 km/h. The French international has played every minute in the Champions League this season - 540 in six matches. He has covered a total distance of 52.9 km.
The PSG superstar is outpaced by German international Karim Adeyemi. The Borussia Dortmund striker was clocked at 36.3 km/h during the Champions League group stage. This makes him the fastest player in the competition so far. Adeyemi has played a total of 339 minutes in six matches and covered a distance of 43.6 km. RB Leipzig Belgian striker Lois Openda is 3rd with 35.7 km/h.

Daizen Maeda (Celtic) takes 6th place with 35.6 km/h, while Alphonso Davies (Bayern Munich) takes 7th place with 35.5 km/h (22.05 mph). Mohamed Simakan (RB Leipzig) is 8th with 35.5 km/h. Sandro Tonali of Newcastle United (35.5 km/h) and Théo Hernández of AC Milan (35.4 km/h) close the podium.
