PSG’s Achraf Hakimi Tops List of Most Valuable Arab Soccer Players
The Moroccan right-back of PSG Achraf Hakimi and the Egyptian Mohamed Salah are at the top of the ranking of the most expensive Arab players in the Arab world.
Transfermarkt, a specialized website in transfers, has unveiled its new ranking of the most expensive Arab players in the world. The Atlas Lion Achraf Hakimi and the Egyptian Mohamed Salah are in first place, with a value of 65 million euros.
The Moroccan central defender of West Ham Nayef Aguerd takes 2nd place, with a market value of around 38 million euros. Then comes the Algerian Ismaël Bennacer, AC Milan player, with an estimated market value of 35 million euros. As for the Moroccan right-back of Bayern Munich Noussair Mazraoui, he is in 4th place, valued at 30 million euros.
All these players will participate in the 34th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) which will take place from January 13 to February 11, 2024 in five cities (Abidjan, Bouaké, Korhogo, San-Pédro and Yamoussoukro) in Côte d’Ivoire, with 24 teams including Senegal, the defending champion and Morocco, semi-finalist of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the team to beat.
