Morocco’s Hakimi and Aguerd Among Africa’s Most Valuable Soccer Stars

Achraf Hakimi and Nayef Aguerd are among the Top 10 most expensive players in Africa. The market value of the two Atlas Lions has increased due to their participation in the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN Côte d’Ivoire 2023).
According to Transfermarkt, the right-back of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and the central defender of West Ham are among the ten most expensive players on the continent. With a market value of 65 million euros, Achraf Hakimi is ranked second in this Top 10, behind Nigerian Victor Osimhen, who leads with a value of 110 million euros. Nayef Aguerd, for his part, is in ninth place with a value of 38 million euros on the transfer market.
The third place is occupied by Egyptian Mo Salah with a value of 65 million euros, followed by Ghanaian Mohammed Kudus (45 million), Ivorian Oussmane Diomande (40 million), Guinean Serhou Guirassy (40 million), Burkinabe Edmond Tapsoba (40 million), Cameroonian André Onana (40 million), and Ivorian Odilon Kossounou (35 million euros).
