Moroccan Stars Hakimi and Diaz Among Africa’s Most Valuable Footballers

Two Moroccan internationals feature prominently in the ranking of the most valued African players published by Transfermarkt, a website specializing in the evaluation of footballers.
This ranking takes into account the market value of players participating in the qualifications for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Nigerian Victor Osimhen, Napoli’s striker, tops this ranking with an estimated value of 75 million euros.
Achraf Hakimi, defender of Paris Saint-Germain, and Brahim Diaz, midfielder of Real Madrid, represent Morocco in this ranking. Hakimi reaches a market value of 60 million euros, while Diaz is estimated at 40 million euros.
Other players also stand out for their high market value. Victor Boniface, Osimhen’s teammate in the Nigerian national team, Burkinabe Edmond Tapsoba and Senegalese Ismaïla Sarr are all valued at 45 million euros. Malian Yves Bissouma follows closely with a value of 35 million euros.
Cameroonian goalkeeper André Onana follows in the ranking with a value of 35 million euros, equal to Algerian Rayan Aït Nouri. André-Frank Zambo Anguissa, also Cameroonian, is estimated at 27 million euros.
