PSA Group Resumes Operations in Morocco, Guarantees Pay for Kenitra Plant Workers

In Morocco, the cautious resumption of PSA Group’s activities is effective with the deployment of a strengthened health protocol and the guarantee of ensuring the remuneration of personnel during the suspension of production at the Kenitra plant.
The PSA Group will remunerate its personnel who continue to perform their duties on the automotive industrial site or remotely through telework, reports challenge.ma. According to the group’s managers, PSA employees will receive 100% of their remuneration. As for employees whose activity is interrupted, PSA will guarantee 50% of the monthly net remuneration with a minimum of 2,000 net DH.
Regarding the variable parts of remuneration for 2019, the Group has decided to maintain the payment in March. As for the profit-sharing bonus for all employees not eligible for the variable part, it will be effective in April.
As part of the contribution to national solidarity, the group has participated as a civic actor by offering 50 Peugeot 208 vehicles and 200,000 masks. In addition, PSA mobilized at the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic to adopt in real time the necessary measures to protect its employees and partners.
