PSA Group Donates 50 Peugeot Cars and 200,000 Masks to Morocco’s COVID-19 Fund

The PSA Group is contributing to the covid-19 fund by offering 50 Peugeot cars and 200,000 masks. Since March 17, the group’s managers have decided to place all employees who can do so in telework and to suspend its production activity at the Kenitra plant, while preserving the salaries of the employees.
The PSA Group has anticipated the issues related to the protection of its employees and has defined a reinforced prevention protocol for its teams and those of its partners who continue to perform their duties, indicates the automobile manufacturer, which emphasizes that the group’s managers have also "subscribed all its employees in Morocco as well as their families, to a 24/7 medical assistance contract".
The PSA Group is actively participating in the awareness campaign by making the "best practices for protecting employees and implementing financial crisis management mechanisms" available to its commercial partners and ecosystem in Morocco.
This is how, as part of the fight against COVID-19 and its economic and social consequences, the PSA Group has joined the national effort, by donating 200,000 masks and 50 Peugeot 208 cars produced in Morocco in order to "support the medical teams and auxiliary forces on the ground in their fight against the pandemic".
