Morocco’s CDG Group Offers 8,000 Beds to Support COVID-19 Response

The CDG Group is making more than 8,000 beds available to the Moroccan authorities as support in the fight against COVID-19.
The CDG Group is expressing its solidarity in the fight against coronavirus by mobilizing more than 8,000 available beds within its various assets. The 8,000 beds are mobilized as follows: more than 4,000 beds spread over 12 cities in Morocco, from Madaef, the tourism branch of the Group. CDG Développement, the Territorial Development branch, will make available about 3,500 beds in its university residences in the cities of Casablanca, Meknes, El Jadida and Rabat. The CDG summer centers are called upon to mobilize 450 beds in the cities of Restinga, Bouznika, Fez, Saïdia, Ifrane, El Jadida and Marrakech.
It should be noted that this donation of 8,000 beds is not the first act of solidarity by the CDG group in the fight against COVID-19. This group had made a direct contribution of 1 billion dirhams to support the Special Fund dedicated to managing the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, there is the mobilization of its employees through a donation from their salaries to strengthen the same Fund.
The CDG has also committed to putting its human, material and financial resources at the service of the fight against the spread of coronavirus and its consequences.
