Casablanca Races to Build 700-Bed COVID-19 Field Hospital in Two Weeks

A field hospital with a capacity of 700 beds will be built in Casablanca as part of the strengthening of health services to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.
After the field hospital in Benslimane, built in record time, the city of Casablanca is working to erect its hospital center. Construction work on this health infrastructure was launched this Saturday, on an area of 2,000 m² on the site of the International Fair of the metropolis. They should be completed in two weeks.
This project, launched on the initiative of the local authorities of Casablanca-Settat, in partnership with the Regional Council, and in coordination with the regional health department, requires a substantial envelope of 45 million dirhams.
