A new field hospital will soon be set up in the Beni Mellal region to strengthen health services in this Covid-19 context.
The work to set up a new field hospital has been launched in Beni Mellal. This work will help relieve the pressure on the Covid-19 service of the hospital center due to the increase in positive cases related to this pandemic.
With a capacity of 100 beds, the hospital will be set up within the site of the Beni Mellal regional hospital center. Last Wednesday, the Wali of the Beni Mellal-Khénifra region, the governor of the province of Beni Mellal Khatib El Hebil, accompanied by the regional and provincial directors of health and the director of the regional hospital center, carried out a site visit to get a feel for the progress of the work. The Wali urged the work supervisors to make more effort to complete the work in a short time. The decision to set up this center has delighted many compatriots who have welcomed the authorities’ sense of anticipation in order to prevent unpleasant situations.
