PSA Group Prepares for Gradual Reopening of Moroccan Plant Amid COVID-19 Measures

Faced with the COVID-19 pandemic, the PSA group has implemented reinforced health measures in order to create the conditions for a secure and gradual resumption of activities. Is the French manufacturer’s plant in Morocco also affected?
While the French automaker is working on the timid resumption of its activities, the question arises as to whether its plant located in Kenitra in Morocco is also concerned. Especially since this plant is an important link in the PSA chain. It contributes significantly to the growth of the French manufacturer’s turnover.
The group’s executive committee has defined a health protocol to strengthen barrier gestures, with the support of the medical teams, for employees for whom teleworking is impossible, in order to effectively deal with the disease that threatens the whole world.
This protocol is divided into three different sectors of the company’s activity: commercial, industrial and tertiary (including R&D). The same protocol focuses on temperature taking, wearing masks on site with individual daily allocation.
The protocol also provides for respecting distances between people in meeting rooms, at each workstation or in rest areas with floor markings, keeping doors open to avoid contact with handles as well as cleaning and disinfecting tools and work surfaces every 60 minutes, specifies a press release from the group.
