According to the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration (DGAPR), the long-awaited closure of the local prison in Oujda was decided due to its dilapidated infrastructure, dating back to 1910.

Morocco Suspends Prison Visits and Transfers to Curb Coronavirus Spread
