Morocco: a senior official arrested for corruption (he is in prison)
The president of the Taza Provincial Council was arrested this Monday, April 6 by the judicial police. Suspected of tax fraud and financial misconduct, he was taken into custody along with his two brothers.
The arrest was carried out by the National Brigade of the Judicial Police (BNPJ) as part of an investigation supervised by the competent public prosecutor’s office.
