Policeman’s Service Weapon Stolen During Prayer at Casablanca Mosque

On June 10 in Casablanca, a policeman had his service weapon stolen while praying in a mosque. The police are in a state of excitement to find it and identify this thief.
An individual is said to have waited for a policeman to prostrate himself during prayer in a mosque in the Sidi Moumen district of Casablanca to steal the case containing his weapon. He only realized it afterwards. This is according to Al Massae, which was relayed by several media.
The latter then informed his superiors of what had happened. An investigation was opened in order, among other things, to identify the culprit and his reasons, and above all to recover the firearm.
The police are on maximum alert since this crime and the sector has been combed through in case the thief has gotten rid of the weapon for one reason or another. Indeed, the police do not rule out the possibility that the thief did not know what he was stealing. Everything was checked: deserted places, trash cans... Still according to the newspaper.
It is not known what measures have been taken against this agent who lost his service weapon and more information is awaited on this subject.
