Police Thwart Potential Massacre by Armed Ex-Convict in Khouribga

A former inmate, with a total of 28 offenses, a repeat offender was about to commit a massacre with his bladed weapon, had it not been for the vigilance of an investigator from the judicial police of Khouribga.
Aged 26, the suspect, a drug trafficker acting under the influence of psychotropic drugs, was seriously threatening the safety of citizens and police services with a bladed weapon.
According to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security, the individual showed fierce resistance, destroying public property as well as the police car on his way.
The situation forced the police inspector to use his service weapon, injuring the individual three times in the lower limbs.
Taken to the hospital to receive the necessary care, the aggressor was placed in custody at the disposal of the investigation, conducted under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
