Police Seize Ton of Moroccan Cannabis, Arrest 9 in Paris Suburbs

Investigators from the judicial police in Evry (Essonne) carried out, on Thursday, December 10, the seizure of a ton of Moroccan cannabis and the arrest of nine individuals belonging to the same network.
A ton of cannabis and several hundred thousand euros in cash were seized on Thursday in the Paris suburbs, a source close to the investigation told AFP on Friday. In addition to the resin, which came from Morocco, more than 600,000 euros were seized as well as three handguns, the source said.
The operation resulted in the arrest of nine people aged between 20 and 40 in Val-de-Marne, Seine-Saint-Denis and Seine-et-Marne.
