A police inspector on duty at the Zagora airport has been the subject of an investigation since Thursday evening following a serious breach committed by the latter in the performance of his duties.
According to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the inspector who was taken into custody would have assaulted his superior by shooting him with his service weapon, causing injuries to his left eyebrow.
According to the preliminary data of the investigation opened, the head of the Zagora airport police station noted professional shortcomings against the police inspector, who failed in the duty of discipline by making use of his weapon against his superior.
The investigation will have to determine all the criminal acts attributed to the latter, as well as the reasons that led him to shoot at his superior.
