Police Arrest Two Suspects in Money Transfer Agency Robbery Attempt in Morocco

The judicial police of Tetouan arrested, on Wednesday, two individuals for their alleged involvement in the robbery of a money transfer agency.
Aged 29 and 31, the individuals were apprehended during their flight, after attempting to rob an agency located in Martil. On the spot, they broke the protective glass and threatened an employee with a knife, details a statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
The initial investigation revealed that the two suspects are repeat offenders. They are implicated in a case of theft and attempted theft targeting two money transfer agencies, last November in Tetouan, adds the same source.
A search of their home allowed the seizure of clothing and masks, as well as knives and large sums of money apparently from their criminal activity.
The accused were placed in custody pending the investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office.
