Four Arrested in Al Haouz Money Transfer Agency Heist, 30,000 Dirhams Stolen

More than 10 days after the hold-up perpetrated in a money transfer agency in the province of Al Haouz, the elements of the royal gendarmerie of Tahannaout arrested four alleged perpetrators.
The robbery dates back to January 19, when a group of 4 criminals broke into the money transfer agency, reports Aujourd’hui Le Maroc. Aged between 24 and 44, the burglars boarded a vehicle with a 200 kg safe.
Arrived in the Al Ouidane region, the criminals opened it and took away an amount of 30,000 dirhams. An investigation was opened and made it possible to locate them and then to proceed with their arrest. The searches carried out in the house where they were arrested made it possible to seize the vehicle and other objects used during their operation.
