Suspect Arrested in Fez for Armed Robbery of Money Transfer Agency

The elements of the judicial police of Fez in coordination with those of Meknes proceeded to the arrest of the robber of a money transfer agency in Ouislane, last Friday. This, based on information provided by the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST).
The arrested man is 38 years old and is suspected of having robbed a money transfer agency in Ouislane. He had threatened the teller with a bladed weapon, stolen a sum of money before fleeing, reports Al Massae. The video of the robbery had been circulated on social networks.
The judicial police of Fez conducted an investigation that proved fruitful. The alleged author of the robbery was identified. He will be arrested in the city in the company of a woman. During the searches of his home, the investigators seized a sum of money that could come from the loot of the burglary.
For now, the two suspects have been placed in custody for the needs of the investigation under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office.
