Two Arrested in Morocco for Drunk Driving and Gun Threats, Police Say

Two individuals have been arrested in Oulad Teima for their alleged involvement in a case of public drunkenness, drunk driving and threatening with a hunting rifle.
According to the DGSN, the two suspects aged 34 and 37 respectively were arrested in an advanced state of intoxication, after one of them threatened a person with a hunting rifle, firing two warning shots due to a dispute on the public highway.
The hunting rifle was seized, adds the DGSN in a press release, specifying that the pointing operation revealed that one of the two suspects was the subject of a national search warrant from the national security services and the Royal Gendarmerie of Oulad Taima and Agadir for issuing bad checks.
The searches carried out at the suspects’ homes allowed the seizure of the hunting rifle used, according to the DGSN, which indicates that the two suspects were placed in custody pending the completion of the investigation opened under the supervision of the public prosecutor.
