On their Facebook account, the gendarmerie of the Hérault reports: "Unfortunately, we once again crossed the path of this famous Dédé! Despite the excellent catch our road offender seemed to have made that day, our motorway patrol gendarmes on the A9 had to take action." The gendarmes fined the driver.
The fine proportional to the overweight varies from 135 to 1500 euros. According to the gendarmes, a driver can end up in court for more than 20% overload on a car.
