Overloaded Car Bound for Morocco Stopped by French Police: 400kg Excess Luggage

The gendarmes of the Cher department intercepted a vehicle transporting a significant load on its way to Morocco at the toll barrier in Vierzon.
The vehicle was transporting a significant load, luggage. A Moroccan family was on board this car heading to Morocco for the summer vacation. On Saturday, during the check on the highway at the Vierzon toll barrier, the law enforcement officers found an excess of 400 kilos of luggage on the roof of the car compared to what is authorized, reports francebleu.
It is a Renault Scénic. This vehicle was driving towards Toulouse when it was intercepted by the gendarmes of the Cher department. Seven people were on board the car. Friends of this Moroccan family finally recovered the excess luggage.
According to the Cher gendarmes, driving with so much load is dangerous, as it increases the braking distance, and can cause an imbalance that can lead to loss of control.
