Orange Alert: Heavy Thunderstorms and Snow Forecast for Multiple Moroccan Regions

Several regions of Morocco could experience heavy thunderstorms at the orange level on Tuesday from 1pm to 9pm. The alert was issued by the National Meteorology Directorate.
These heavy rains affect the provinces of Rabat, Larache, Kénitra, Ben Slimane, Skhirate-Temara and Salé, according to a special weather bulletin from the DMN.
In addition, moderate showers are expected on Tuesday between 1pm and 9pm in Ifrane, El Jadida, Tanger-Assilah, Casablanca, Mohammedia, Nouaceur, Berrechid, Sefrou and Médiouna, adds the same source.
It is also announced snowfall, which can reach 5 to 10 cm on heights over 2,000 m, on Tuesday from 12pm until midnight, in the provinces of Ifrane, Azilal, Beni-Mellal and Midelt.
