OpenAI Unleashes ChatGPT Go Across Africa, Revolutionizing AI Access
OpenAI is conquering Morocco and the other 53 African countries with the launch of ChatGPT Go, a more accessible version of its artificial intelligence tool.
Starting this Wednesday, October 15, OpenAI is making its ChatGPT Go available across the African continent. A more accessible version of its artificial intelligence tool designed for everyday use, especially for those who want to go beyond the limits of the free version without paying the price of a premium subscription. This version opens access to the advanced GPT-5 model to 54 countries on the continent, with a significantly reduced rate compared to the higher subscription. It offers ten times more messages, images, and uploaded files per day, as well as twice the memory capacity.
Why the choice of Africa for its new expansion stage? "Millions of people across Africa are already using ChatGPT to learn, create, or start their business. With ChatGPT Go, we want to make this technology more affordable and more inclusive," says Nick Turley, Vice President and Head of ChatGPT at OpenAI.
