Notorious Car Thief "Villa" Arrested in Tangier After Long Manhunt

The Tangier police services succeeded in apprehending on Tuesday a dangerous criminal specialized in car theft.
Nicknamed "Villa", the 49-year-old suspect was one of the most wanted criminals by the judicial authorities of Tangier. His specialty, theft from vehicles. The criminal chooses his targets, takes advantage of a moment of inattention on their part to break into their parked vehicles in the city center and side streets and steal personal effects or interior accessories from said vehicles.
His arrest was made possible thanks to the research and investigations carried out by the police services following the many complaints filed by motorists whose cars had been burgled. The suspect was made available to the regional directorate of the judicial police for the needs of the investigation. He will be brought before the competent prosecutor’s office in the coming days.
