Agadir Police Arrest Hotel Burglar After High-Speed Chase and Crash

The elements of the police of the Wilaya of Agadir put an end to the flight of the burglar of a hotel establishment in the city. The intensive searches carried out by the National Security services proved fruitful. The suspect was arrested on Sunday morning, August 18. He is a 24-year-old man with a criminal record. He was the subject of several wanted notices for theft and violence.

He is suspected of being involved in a case of theft within a hotel establishment in Agadir, followed by drunk driving and a fatal road accident. He is said to have stolen personal effects and sums of money, as well as an all-terrain vehicle belonging to the victim, which was parked in the same hotel parking lot.

After his arrest, the suspect is subjected to a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, in order to determine all the circumstances and details of the commission of these criminal acts.
