Moroccan Police Swiftly Solve Tourist Theft Case in Tiznit, Arrest Two Suspects

The judicial police of Tiznit put an end to a series of thefts from vehicles targeting tourists. Two individuals, known to the police, were arrested in less than 24 hours following the complaint of a foreign tourist victim of a bag theft.
The case began with the filing of a complaint by the foreign tourist, victim of the theft of his handbag inside his car, parked in front of his hotel in Tiznit. The police reacted very quickly, conducting field investigations and technical research that led to the arrest of two suspects aged 28 and 34.
The operation made it possible to recover the entire contents of the stolen bag, including the money and documents, as well as the seizure of a motorcycle potentially used in the context of their criminal activities.
The two individuals were taken into custody and the investigation continues under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office. The objective is to shed light on this case and determine the exact circumstances of these thefts.
