Moroccan Police Arrest Suspect in Chefchaouen Attempted Abduction Caught on Video

The police services of the city of Chefchaouen have arrested a man who tried to forcibly take a woman into a taxi.
The video of the scene, published on social networks at the beginning of the week, was recovered by the elements of the General Directorate of National Security who opened an investigation to identify the victim and arrest the two suspects. In the video, we see an individual using force to compel a woman to get into a taxi on a street in Chefchaouen.
According to a security source, the victim did not file a complaint. The investigations carried out by the police services revealed that the victim and the suspect knew each other. The latter, as well as the taxi driver, were finally arrested and placed in custody under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office.
