Mysterious Foul Odors Plague Casablanca, Source Still Unknown

Foul odors have invaded several neighborhoods of the city of Casablanca in recent days, disrupting the daily lives of residents. Where do these odors come from?
The city council, in partnership with the company Casa Environnement, had launched a study a few months ago to determine if the Mediouna landfill was the source of these bad odors, as several internet users had suspected on social media. But the investigation did not confirm this hypothesis.
For now, the city authorities are continuing their research into the origin of these foul odors. For her part, the Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development declared to the House of Advisors that these odors are due to the leakage of leachate from the waste from the Mediouna landfill, which, according to her, does not comply with standards and regulations.
