Multimillion-Dollar Diamond Ring Stolen from Luxury Hotel Room in Marrakech

A member of the staff of a hotel in the city of Marrakech stole a diamond ring from one of the rooms. It would belong to a wealthy client and be worth a small fortune.
Al Ahdath Al Maghribiya reports that a wealthy client of a hotel, located on the road to Safi, in the commune of Oulad Hassoune, discovered that a diamond ring worth several million centimes had been stolen from his room. A "small" fortune.
The authorities were notified and arrived on the scene for the investigation. Surveillance camera images helped identify the thief, a chambermaid, who was leaving the floor where the room in question was located in a hurry, perhaps forgetting that she was being filmed.
The chambermaid was arrested and taken into custody. She will be tried for theft. The diamond ring was recovered and returned to its owner.
