British Tourist Found Homeless in Moroccan City of Tan Tan, Authorities Investigate

The local authorities of the city of Tan Tan have opened an investigation following the publication of photos of a foreign tourist living in precariousness, wandering the streets of the city and roaming at night in dangerous areas, thus putting her life at risk.
Following the information disseminated on social networks about a foreign British national homeless tourist in the city of Tan Tan, the local authorities and the security services requested the regional authority to conduct research throughout the province. She was found in an abandoned building located at the entrance of the city of Tan Tan, near the national road.
After investigation, it turned out that it was indeed a tourist named Jeanne Victoria H. with a valid British passport. She had entered Morocco through the Tanger-Med port on February 8 and had then settled in Tan-Tan, in the south of the country, a week later, on February 15.
Apparently penniless, she had settled in an abandoned building, which can represent, it is said, a danger for the young woman. She was taken care of and housed in a hotel.
On Sunday, she left the hotel heading to Laâyoune then to Dakhla before heading to Dakar, Senegal, it was further specified.
