Morocco’s Ziyech Eyes National Team Return After Year-Long Absence

Since his last call-up in September 2024 against Lesotho and Gabon, Hakim Ziyech (64 caps, 25 goals and 12 assists) has not played for the Moroccan national team due to increased competition, lack of playing time at Galatasaray, his tumultuous transfer to Al-Duhail club (Qatar) and a supposed falling out with Walid Regragui.
