Morocco’s World Cup Heroes Hakimi, Bounou, and Regragui Nominated for FIFA Best Awards

FIFA has just published the names of the nominees for the The Best awards, among which are the right-back of the Moroccan national team, Achraf Hakimi, goalkeeper Yassine Bounou and the coach of the same team, Walid Regragui.
The Three Moroccans owe their places on the list of nominees to the roles they played in Morocco’s run at the 2022 World Cup. Achraf Hakimi is in the category of best player with Julián Álvarez, Jude Bellingham, Karim Benzema, Kevin de Bruyne, Erling Haaland, Robert Lewandowski, Sadio Mane, Kylian Mbappé, Lionel Messi, Luka Modrić, Neymar, Mohamed Salah and Vinicius Junior.
As for Walid Regragui, he is in the category of best coach, along with Carlo Ancelotti of Real Madrid, Didier Deschamps of France, Pep Guardiola of Manchester City and Lionel Scaloni of Argentina.
Regarding Yassine Bounou, he is in the category of best goalkeeper, alongside Álisson Becker, Thibaut Courtois, Ederson and Emiliano Martínez. The awards ceremony will take place on February 27 in Paris.
